Listen To Police/Fire/EMS Without A Scanner On Your PC!

(Note: Using your computer to listen to these broadcasts only works if your internet connection is alive and healthy. With all the possible disasters we could face your computer may become useless!)

It may be useful for you to know what your emergency and police are up to. Especially useful for areas away from your location so you can actually hear what’s going on in neighboring towns and what may be coming your way.

Browse the site to see what it offers and how to use it. It is simple to understand.

Click on your state then click on your county.

It may take a minute or two to start hearing the chatter, be patient.

  1. Great post, I didn't know about the PC site. Thanks!! There are also a couple of apps for those with smartphones. Yesterday, here in Houston, we had the horrible epic flooding and for a period of time, tv was out and so was internet but I had a cell connection and was able to listed to police and fire scanners.

  2. Thank you, I thought it was a great tool to be able to listen in to any city anywhere in the country. For example from where you live and there's a nuke set off 2,000 miles away. You'll get better info with this link than your local news outlet. It is true that during tactical situations the bigger cities have the ability to change the send/receive freq's for OPSEC but at least you will get most of the story.
