Ammunition High Prices

After reading several sources who were complaining about ammo shortages and high prices, I checked my ammo sources yesterday to verify. Wow it’s now more than 4x what I paid 15 years ago buying from Cheaper Than Dirt and Ammoman.com  I have no idea why the prices are so high but it makes me glad I stocked-up back then otherwise a day at the range would be painful!

As of yesterday:

223 = $540 per 1000

9mm = $450 per 1000

308 = $800 per 1000

12ga ‘00’ and ‘slugs’ = $1,100 per 1000
